Our Host
Dieunor Michel
Dieunor Michel is the founder and CEO of Breaking Barriers of Black Investors. He has a diverse professional background in finance, ranging from financial planning and advising, mergers and acquisition, venture capital, corporate finance, and innovation. Dieunor Michel holds impressive academic credentials, including a Bachelor in Finance from Florida International University and a Master of Science in Finance from Florida Atlantic University, where he completed the Executive Education program. In addition, he has earned the highly respected Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from The CFA Institute, further demonstrating his expertise and commitment to the finance industry.
Dieunor is passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in finance, which led him to create Breaking Barriers of Black Investors. Through this podcast, he hopes to inspire and motivate black people with a passion for finance by sharing the stories of successful black investment professionals.
When he’s not working, Dieunor enjoys spending time with his wife, Carla, learning new things, playing competitive sports, and exploring outdoor activities. He also loves exotic cars and enjoys attending car shows in his free time.
